  • Population: 9,894,000 (1996 estimate)
  • Number of registered voters: The Republic Electoral Commission (RIK) in Serbia reports that 6,555,405 have the right to vote. RIK has not stated how many voters from Kosovo have been included in the rolls.

  • KOSTUNICA is expected to receive most of the votes of SESELJ's supporters in the second round.
