MONEGLIA, Italy (CNN) -- A small-town Italian culinary entrepreneur is hoping to make his mark with a new flavor of ice cream -- Viagra.

Franco Corradi says he got the idea when he was having dinner with a pastry chef who suggested making pastries with the new impotence-fighting drug. So Corradi went home, thought up the recipe overnight and started churning out the blue ice cream in the morning. He even serves it in cones.

So is there really Viagra in the ice cream? Corradi is keeping his recipe a secret. At more than $7 per tiny blue tablet, it would seem unlikely, but Corradi remains coy.

"The taste is nice. As far as the rest, one should not say it here," he says.

Strangest of all, though, the new treat being dished out at the Bar Centrale in this coastal tourist town seems to be a particular hit with an unlikely audience -- women.
