abdicated and fled the country.
In 1932, in New Zealand, civil service pay cuts caused the
country's worst ever riots with hundreds injured.

In 1981, NASA's space shuttle Columbia made a perfect landing

In 1994, two U.S. F-15 fighter planes shot down two American helicopters over northern Iraq killing 26, in what the Pentagon called a "tragic accident."
In 1995, the Security Council unanimously authorized Iraq to
sell $2 billion worth of oil over six months to pay for
humanitarian supplies.
