- Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat is scheduled to meet with Commerce Secretary Daley, World Bank President Wolfensohn and address the Arab American Institute Foundation in Washington.
- On Monday, November 30, a hearing for three boys charged on November 18 with conspiracy to commit first-degree intentional homicide at Burlington High School is scheduled in Racine, Washington. Prosecutors have asked for psychological evaluations of the boys.
- On Tuesday, December 1, The House Judiciary Committee has scheduled a hearing in Washington on 'The Consequences of Perjury and Related Crimes.' Testimony is expected from judges and convicted perjurers.
- On Wednesday, December 2, the 66th annual Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony takes place in New York.
- On Thursday, December 3, the target launch of the space shuttle Endeavour on an eleven-day International Space Station mission is scheduled at Cape Canaveral. The 'Endeavour' is tentatively scheduled to rendezvous with the Space Station on December 6.
- On Friday, December 4, The American Epilepsy Society holds annual meeting in San Diego.
