It will be in the best interest of the radical groups to lay down there arms and embrass peace, because they are causing havoke to there there own people ,thinking there are championing there cause ,that is a wrong approach towards a peaceful world and better state. The children in most of these states are dying for a cause they dont know, people crying just because of some of heartless group of radials .Is time to change our attitude and ideology for a better .

Thank you for writing Geneesis. I agree with your logic. I hate that animals and the elderly suffer, and children, the weak always do in violence. Neither side, Israel or Gaza, is perfect, but they are neighbors. Perhaps it's time to think out of the box, not the you hurt me so I'll hurt you back someway stuff, and strive for unity. North America and Europe have gotten there, a little anyway. Our children deserve good, fun, learning lives, not bombs. Children want to play, have fun, and like everyone. I wish grown-ups were more like them.

Geneesis,

Have you gave your comment any thoughts?...

How can you ask radical groups to put down their arms?... Do you think they are going to listen to you?

When you are ready to be more logical let me know and we can have better discussion.

professor,

Don't be so blind and narrow minded-- the IRA put down their arms and embraced peace and the ballot box-- left the terrorism behind!

What about Col. Gaddafi????

Is there some reason you think that these particular terrorist factions in the middle east are incapable of doing likewise?????

We under estimate people sometimes. Sometimes a few do great things. I hope for greatness in the ME and this to be a bad memory twenty years from now.

Professor   March 28th, 2009 5:37 pm ET

GLeigh,

it will... its just a matter of time when this nightmare will be over... I am confident.... :)
