Sometimes police can play a cricial role in a country that was and is still at war psychologically.Cops are there to help arrest offenders and bring them to justice if the justice system it self has no links to sectarianism in a country like Iraq which can prevent many other political parties to participate in the Iraqi government. Also the salaries of the police should not be delayed and have to be increased from time to time which could help make these institutions free from corruption and extra judicial killings in the name of getting bandits and criminals from the public domain.Logistical support from the government has to be a top priority and remove any bad apples that it sees is not doing well despite of all the necessary equipments and salaries being given.Iraq has a long way to go in bringing peace and stability in the country that was once ruled with aniron fist.
