President Obama should tell Netanyahu America at this time cannot afford to give Israel Billions of free American taxpayer dollars, Weapons, Bombs and Military equipment. Show him the door and tell him to take his hat and his war drum with him.

Undoubtedly Netanyahu is once again pressuring President Obama to bomb Iran. However thanks entirely to Netanyahu's government attack on Turkey who was Israel's sole and strongest Islamic ally in the entire Middle East, Turkey won't permit any Israeli fighter jets crossing thru Turkey's immense airspace, forcing America to entirely bomb Iran on it's own if that should be put into place.

President Obama should tell Netanyahu that America solidly denounces the slaughter of Gaza and West Bank civilians and the Ultra-Right Israeli governments efforts to derail Middle East peace treatys.

avwerosuo   July 7th, 2010 6:42 am ET

What is us president doing about the great lost of their economy.

miriam   July 8th, 2010 5:54 am ET

Smith,

Most of the US's aid to Israel is not free and the US would be as much disadvantaged by any discontinuation of joint military research and development as well as Israeli contributions to the US's military and security.

Obama would tell you that there is no"slaughter" of Palestinian civilians in Gaza or the WB, except that committed by Hamas and Fatah against each other, and that the Israeli government includes the only significant left-wing party that currently exists in Israeli politics.
He would also tell you that Hamas does not respect any agreement in the ME peace process and that the PA needs to negotiate and not just demand and set more and more pre-conditions.

Smith in Oregon   July 8th, 2010 11:30 pm ET

With Turkey banning Israeli fighter jets thru Turkish immense airspace and a large number of Russian troops and forces 150km from the Turkish border, that appears to be largely dimming the Israeli war drums of attacking Iran and their dropping numerous nuclear bombs on the many Iranian military complexes dug deeply under it's mountains using the most sophisticated tunneling equipment in the world.

Conventional 'bunker busting' bombs would do nothing and result in the Iranian forces sinking a Oil Supertanker filled with Saudi Oil in the shallow and narrow Strait of Hormuz directly across from Iran.

Israel using white phosphorus artillery shells on civilians to clear Gaza streets, Israel using cluster bombs to clear Lebanese civilian neighborhoods and Israel using paint ball pellets filled with shards of glass to inflict horrific bloody flesh wounds on the civilians in the peace flotilla ALL appear to be crimes against humanity which should be judged and tried in the International Court system.

While Benjamin Netanyahu specifically stated the non-Turkish passenger ships in the peace food and medical supply's to Gaza were composed entirely of civilians with peaceful purposes, they were also among those repeatedly hit and shot with those paint ball pellets filled with glass shards.

miriam   July 11th, 2010 8:34 am ET

Smith,

How many lies and disinformation can you make up and spread on the internet, fooling the uninformed just in the name of hate?

John A   July 11th, 2010 10:51 am ET

Smith, when a Jew cant justify its criminality it will always call its accusers anti Semitic. Naturally this is not an argument with any logic, its just the usual last stand.

Its a bit like an when an ethnic burglar robs your house and gets caught. Obviously they deny any attempt to rob you and then go on to claim your allegations are based on racism. Its not a new idea and Israelis have been using this weak defense ever since the nation was created 60 years ago.

Unfortunately they get away with it because the world police man receives a large part of its funding from Jewish led entities. Another good reason for America to stop its game of world policeman

John A   July 12th, 2010 12:09 pm ET

Smith, International law also forbids the supply of arms to any state which repeatedly breaks international law.

Israel repeatedly breaks international law and America breaks International law by supplying the villainous state of Israel.

The Zionists have destroyed America both morally and economically.

You better hope Ron Paul wins the presidency in 2012, other wise America will continue to sink into the cesspool of monetary collapse and Zionist wars.

Smith in Oregon   July 12th, 2010 9:33 pm ET

I suggest the Greek NATO flagged cargo ship now loaded with food and medical supply's for the Gaza residents, travel thru International Waters into Egypt's territorial waters and unloads their food and medical supplys in a Egyptian port for moving those supplies to Gaza.

IF Israel again commit's the international crime of piracy on a NATO flagged ship in International Waters or high-jacks that NATO flagged cargo ship in Egypt's territorial waters then NATO and the International Community should immediately deal with Israel's criminal actions.

miriam   July 13th, 2010 8:46 am ET

John A,

All Israeli military actions are performed while referencing international law.

What you presumably refer to as IL are UNSC resolutions that are not IL and are not even binding under Chapter 6.

IL is also not created by the baseless political rhetoric of anti-Israel activists, parroted ignorantly by world leaders and supposed human rights groups whose reports lack credible research and expertise.

Arms embargos on sovereign states violate the inherent right to self-defence, a basic right of any state as recognized in the UN Charter.

No IL would restrict a state's self-defence in favour of genocidal destruction by neighbouring states or entities run by terrorist organizations. This would violate the UN convention on Genocide.

Distinction is also made between the victim state, under attack from aggressor states/entities intent on harming and annihilating its civilians and delegitimizing its legal right to existance, and those attacking, upon whom an embargo can be legally applied.

The election of anarchist and libertarian leaders will certainly lead to the destruction of the US as it has been known until today, a land of freedom and opportunity, as well as morals and values that are used and abused by those who are intent on Western destruction.

John A   July 14th, 2010 10:00 am ET

Miriam says, "All Israeli military actions are performed while referencing international law".
--------------------–
Israel has recognized that it has many illegal settlements. Even Americans know that they are the only nation on earth who supports Israeli crimes.

Americas acts as the world policeman and the Jewish lobby lavish the world policeman with bribes. If the bribes don't work then Jewish owned mainstream media blackmails American politicians by denying them publicity or attacking them on every occasion. Miriam possibly you should write, "All Israeli military actions are performed while referencing to a crooked cop"

Miriam, the only laws your Israel can live under are corrupt self serving laws made by illegal entities who happen to have nuclear weapons.

miriam   July 14th, 2010 12:17 pm ET

John A,

Illegal outposts are illegal under Israeli law and are dealt with within the legal process.

Despite the commonly repeated rhetoric concerning other Jewish settlements, they are not illegal under international law.

It's so convenient to blame US policy on the Jews, however, despite your denials of anti-semitism, that is the oldest of crimes, baselessly directed at the Jewish people.
In addition, as defined by the EU, the demonization and delegitimization of Israel and its existence is anti-semitism.

John A   July 15th, 2010 11:31 am ET

There goes Miriam again, anti-semitism this, anti-semitism that.....

Don't you get it Miriam, I don't care if you or your type call me an anti-Semite. I'm not running for Congress and don't need funding from Americas Jews. So I'm not going to grovel at your knees and pretend Israel has a legitimate and humane policy in the occupied Territories.

Miriam you should know where you can buy your liars and where your ridiculous "anti S" word works. Bye the way thats not the in the free world.

If you want to keep playing the anti-semitism card, use it where it works. i.e. corrupt American politicians who will sell their country for financial support. Just ask Joe Biden.

John A   July 15th, 2010 11:35 am ET

ps Miriam everyone knows your interpretation of international law is just a sick Israeli joke. But I suppose if you walk like a clown and talk like a clown, it will be anti semitic to call you a clown?

miriam   July 16th, 2010 11:15 am ET

John A,

You should be more concerned about Hamas and PA policies in the terrorities since they are in control of most of the population.

Apart for the way they treat their own populations, you should be criticizing their school curricula and the kid's TV channels over the values they teach.

PS. WRT to your comments on IL:
"Everyone".......... except the IL experts.

Samantha   July 16th, 2010 5:49 pm ET

Miriam you are the only one who would call yourself an expert, the rest of us just laugh at your words.
Actually sometimes I cry, because of the bad will you show to all non Jews.

miriam   July 18th, 2010 8:23 am ET

Samantha,

It's one thing for you to have an issue with the truth but making false personal accusations is another.

You have no idea who I am, male, female, Christian, Jew, Muslim, Ba'hai, Hindu, Sikh, pagan, atheist...........

Creed does not affect the ability to gain knowledge, report fact and tell the truth.

John A   July 23rd, 2010 9:02 am ET

Miriam you do realize you call people anti Semite, you make claims against people who have never stated a hate for Jews, but simply disagree with Israeli political policy. You always throw insults to silence political debate and then you insult Samantha when she expresses her sadness at your behavior. It just goes to show, to become a Zionist you must first be a selfish monster capable of any hypocrisy and dishonesty.

miriam   July 25th, 2010 2:04 pm ET

John A,

Anti-semitism is part of the political culture of most anti-Zionists.

Repeating their mantras is an expression of that culture.

For many years, anti-semitism was not "politically correct".

Anti-Zionism has provided a cover for such sentiments but that cover has been blown by the attempts to demonize and deligitimize the Jewish state and the obsession in holding her to standards not applied to any other nation.

John A   July 27th, 2010 8:55 pm ET

I see CNN continues with its unhealthy tradition of always allowing pro Israeli propaganda the last word on each blog.
