It"s good to see that human right's activists are hoping to raise awareness of these Iranian/Sharia endorsed customs.

However it appears to contradict with the fact that so-called human rights activists can host Iranian government controlled TV shows and convert to Islam, thereby adopting those laws, after brief visits to the Islamic Republic.

Stoning is hideous to all in the west.

Observations. Interesting that the USA wants to bomb Iran, so they make a film which gives shocking publicity to this barbaric custom.

At the same time, the USA makes multi billion arms deals with Saudi Arabia which also stones citizens to death.

Interesting the USA also has the death sentence, but for some reason feels strangulation through hanging is more tasteful than death via stoning.

Finally, why does America feel it is responsible for policing the world? Especially when corruption, brutal murder, drugs and human trafficking are rife in America. Some policeman?

In summary, it would be nice to think this film has been produced to make the world a better place. But unfortunately it seems more like an attempt to smear Iran, as it focuses on Iran and not all countries which practice stoning.

And as for the world being a better place, statistics show that during the time needed to write this blog there will have been another brutal rape or murder in the USA. Statistics also indicate that within the same time frame a rape or murder was not committed in Iran.

Conclusion, the world could be a better place and we should aim to make all improvements possible. But in this film America attempts to remove a spec of dust from Iran's eye, before removing the plank from its own. We all know more people are brutally killed in America through execution or murder. Funny how people see American crime films as entertainment, but Iranian stoning films are supposed to be hard hitting and focus on social justice.

Being sent to the bottom of an ocean in concrete boots by John a Joseph Gotti type family is more common than stoning. America should first police itself better, before attempting to apply its hypocrisy to the world.

The film was made by an Iranian-American, based on a non-fiction book by an Iranian-French journalist.

The US government doesn't have to approve every film made by its citizens or on its territory.

Perhaps you are unfamiliar with freedom of speech and expression, unless it involves brain-washing gullible readers.

Anyway, fighting wars in accordance with international law and protecting innocent citizens from deliberate attack should not be confused with capital punishment, handed down to an individual after judicial process.

2000 years ago Israel did not exists. There is no proof that the Jews had anything more than a singular temple in a land which was predominately occupied by Babylonians, Assyrians Canaanite's, Greek, Romans etc. Get over yourself and learn history.
