I do agree with trinisyrian completely : those who fight against the government are "fueled" by Saudis and Wahabis and want to change a progressive country into a Wahabi state! The great democrat (I am being sarcastic), Saudi King Abdullah has promised billions to get rid of Assad. How do you explain that except in terms of regional power politics. What about the poor poeple of Bahrain who are being killed daily.

The situation in Syria is horrendous and Bashar Al-Assad has lost the authority to lead his country. He is sanctimonious and has used the problems as well as the geographical structure of Syria to his advantage.

Personally, I want only the Arab League to send in the forces and capture Al-Assad instead of bombing Syria.

Psychopaths, that will eventually have to go. And in history, All despotic leaders have gone done in a bloody way. Such is the fate of the saudi monarchs, the gulf monarchs, and Bashar Assad. Time will show my words to be true. But we will have to wait, quite a bit.... For now, I say to all these rulers,, beware, and await your ugly fate, for like Mubarak in Egypt, you will fall down and be humiliated for what goes around, comes around.
