Go to: For four fishermen from the badly-hit Indonesian island of Sumatra, the arrival of an Indian coast guard cutter was surely a sight for sore eyes. The badly sun burnt men were first spotted by a helicopter after weathering the tsunami and drifting for nine days in a wooden dinghy with a makeshift sail, a broken engine and no food or water. Rescuers said the men could barely speak and could only say "Indonesia" when asked for their names.
