More than 1,300 quake deaths were reported in India; and Pakistani officials say the quake, which struck South Asia on October 8, killed at least 41,000 people in Pakistan and injured more than 60,000.
According to the U.N. Children's Fund, 50 to 60 percent of those killed in the earthquake were children. UNICEF spokesman Damien Personaz added: "This figure is going to rise. It is clear that children were the main victims."
