U.S. protesters simulate a waterboarding interrogation which some say is torture.

Secret U.S. torture memo released

U.S. interrogators working abroad would not violate U.S. bans on torture unless they had "specific intent to inflict severe pain or suffering," the Bush administration said in 2002 according to a previously secret memo released Thursday. Another memo advised "the waterboard," or simulated drowning, does "not violate the Torture Statute." full story
