Samantha Reyes is an Assignment Editor based in CNN’s Washington Bureau. She has worked in many different positions since joining the network in 2015. She came to CNN from Voice of America, where she was a producer for the daily Spanish News show. Before her time at Voice of America, Reyes worked with the Univision Network in Miami. During her time at Univision she particularly enjoyed working with the network’s Special Events production team, allowing her to work on events throughout the country. Based in D.C. Reyes is still a proud Miami, FL native. She graduated from Boston University where she studied Journalism and Spanish before moving to Washington.
