CRAWFORD, Texas (CNN) -- President Bush will travel to Fort Hood, Texas, on Sunday where he will attend an Easter church service with troops there, officials said Friday.
Fort Hood is home to more than 20,000 troops fighting in Iraq, including the two Apache helicopter pilots who were taken prisoner in Iraq. The two pilots, Chief Warrant Officers David S. Williams and Ronald Young Jr., were freed on April 13.
Young's father told reporters his son is due to arrive at Fort Hood Saturday.
An administration official said the president has no plans to meet with the pilots on Sunday, but that his schedule could change.
The president will return to his Crawford ranch after the service.
Next week, Bush is expected to travel outside of Washington for a day trip promoting his jobs and growth plan, as well as the progress in Iraq.
