Meet the world's largest superyacht – The Azzam is 590-feet long, 68-feet wide and can travel at a speed of over 30 knots
Luxury vessel – The vessel is powered by two gas turbines and two diesel engines, with a total of 94,000 horse power.
Spacious superyacht – Seen against cargo ships, the Azzam's scale becomes clear. The hulking superyacht is longer than a football field, larger than the US Navy's Arleigh Burke-class destroyer and more capacious than many popular cruise ships.
Living large – Industry insiders suggest that the Azzam's length could actually be a disadvantage, as very few classic cruising destinations have ports large enough to house her.
The high life – The yacht's exterior was designed by Nauta Yachts. TheYachtPhoto's Peter Seyfferth said: 'For a yacht of this size, I think that she looks amazingly elegant and sleek.'
Smooth sailing – The superyacht took one year to design and three years to build. Lürssen Managing Partner Peter Lürssen says that the Azzam 'represents a milestone in yachting history.'
