Buddies Novak Djokovic, left, and Andy Murray squared off in the French Open semis Friday. Djokovic had won seven in a row against the Scot.
And the Serb came out firing two days after he beat "King of Clay" Rafael Nadal. Djokovic, on a 27-match winning streak, dictated with his ground strokes and was impeccable on serve.
But spurred on by the crowd after hitting two big forehands at 5-5 in the third set, Murray improbably won the third to prolong the encounter.
They were eventually forced off because a storm was on the way, causing bad light. Djokovic led 6-3 6-3 5-7 3-3.
The winner will face Swiss Stan Wawrinka, who broke French hearts again. After starring for the Swiss against France in the 2014 Davis Cup final, Wawrinka ousted Jo-Wilfried Tsonga in four sets.
