Lourens "Loux" Gebhardt is a part-time designer and stylist who has become a viral superstar in Namibia.
Gerbhardt has always had a passion for fashion. But he took his admiration of meticulously dressing a step further through social media.
Through his Tumblr blog and Instagram account, he teaches men how to dress and accessorize themselves.
"People should know that Africa is a continent that has talent, from sports to fashion," he says, pictured here rocking a triple denim look with vintage cherry-red Doc Martin boots.
The retro hipster derives inspiration from the fashion of bygone eras, adapting it for today with a modern twist.
Gerbhardt clearly has a flair for fashion, yet he remains humble in who he chooses to style.
"I dress members of parliament, I've dressed musicians, I've dressed TV personalities, I've dressed school kids that are going to a dance. It's open for everyone," he says.
As he continues to juggle his 9-to-5 job (he works in finance) with his and passion for fashion, the oft-described "best dressed man in Namibia" continues to take it all in his stride. "No, it's not hard. To me (the title) is an honor. But yet it's nothing to me because this is who I am."
