Mduchwa is in the process of building the area's first agri-feed manufacturing plant.
Launched in 2012, Reelfruit aims to provide Nigerians with dried fruit snacks. The company's founder, Affiong Williams, was named one of Africa's most promising young entrepreneurs by Forbes in 2015.
Joujou Bomanga is a Congolese businesswoman living in Belgium. She developed Evelea Foods, with the aim of "serving Africa in a jar".
"My love for African cooking comes from my grandmother, who taught us the importance of cooking well," adds Bomanga.
Bomanga's products include a traditional Congolese made from cassava leaves, known as "pondu".
"A new restaurant called Mona Lisa in Brussels wants to taste our products to see how he can adapt them to his menu," says Bomanga.
MFarm is a Kenyan mobile application, started by women.
MFarm aims to connect farmers with consumers via text messaging, cutting out the middle man and extra costs.
