Innoson has signed an agreement to supply the Nigerian Air Force with spare parts for Alpha fighters.

The Innoson motor manufacturing plant at Nnewi in Anabra State. The company employs over 7,000 people and has capacity to produce 10,000 vehicles a year.
IVM, part of the Innoson group owned by Innocent Chukwuma, was launched in 2007. The first vehicles it produced were commercial buses and coaches.
In 2014, the company produced the first private cars to carry the 'Made in Nigeria' seal, including the IVM Fox hatchback.
The robust IVM Carrier model has been adopted by the Nigeria Road Safety Corps.
The company also produces a line of four-wheel drives including the IVM G6.
The group also manufactures garbage trucks, vans and taxis.
There are plans to scale up capacity to 50,000 vehicles a year, including low-cost options, as Nigeria seeks to promote domestic manufacturing.
