(CNN)Now that Julian Assange has been arrested, there's an important question that begs answering.

Whatever happened to the cat?
In case you need a refresher, the WikiLeaks founder got an adorable feline in 2016 to help pass the time while he was holed up in the Ecuadorian embassy in London, where he had been since 2012.
