Washington CNN  —

President Donald Trump axed his visit to Poland over the weekend to monitor Hurricane Dorian from Camp David with emergency management staff, but if the President’s more than 120 tweets are any indication, he had more than just the storm on his mind.

Keeping an eye on the storm moving toward the southeast, Trump updated the nation on the hurricane’s trajectory on Twitter while he golfed around Washington – sharing everything from praise for first responders to messages from government officials on the ground to baseless information about the storm’s trajectory.

But Trump shared with his 63 million-person following just as many messages criticizing his perceived enemies and touting his administration’s victories.

Hurricane Dorian

In more than three dozen tweets, Trump updated his followers on the trajectory of the hurricane, which at one point was slated to slam Florida as a Category 5 storm.

The state is significant politically and personally for the President. Trump has worked to appease the swing state’s voters since he ran for office and he owns several properties, including Mar-a-Lago, there.

Among the messages about Dorian, Trump also spread misinformation, claiming that Alabama was among the states likely to be impacted by the hurricane. The National Weather Service clarified that the state was not expected to be affected.

But Trump, among his tweets about the hurricane, called ABC News’ report fact-checking Trump’s claim about Alabama being impacted “phony.”

News also broke about other deadly incidents happening around the country over the weekend – namely a boat fire in California and a series of shootings in west Texas.

Trump indicated that he was briefed about the shootings by Attorney General William Barr and shared three updates about the fire.

Touting victories

Trump sent out more than 20 tweets touting what his administration sees as victories, nearly all of which were focused on the state of the economy.

He did, however, also share statistics about fentanyl decreases and the US-Mexico border wall.

Trump also shared one tweet about Vice President Mike Pence’s trip to Poland in the President’s place over the weekend.

Targeting enemies

Trump sent about a half dozen tweets over the three-day weekend criticizing the media and critiquing the performance of Fox News personalities.

He also reserved about 10 tweets for fired FBI Director James Comey and other intelligence officials essentially deemed enemies by the Trump administration.

The zeroing-in on Comey came following the Justice Department’s release of an inspector general report which indicated that Comey broke the FBI’s policies. After the findings of the report were referred to prosecutors, prosecutors declined to bring a case.

Trump shared 11 tweets aimed at Democrats – targeting a so-called court packing scheme, their environmental policies and their handling of the economy.

But the wide-ranging barbs also reached the likes of AFL-CIO President Richard Trumka and actress Debra Messing, both of whom he suggested were two-faced.

Trump said Trumka “likes what we are doing until the cameras go on” and Messing “came up to me at an (NBC) Upfront & profusely thanked me, even calling me ‘Sir.’ How times have changed!”
