California has 370 pledged and 69 unpledged delegates. Of the 370 pledged delegates, 241 are district-level delegates (based on results of a given district's binding primary), 81 are at-large delegates and 48 are "party leader and elected official" (PLEO) delegates. Of the 70 unpledged delegates, 65 are PLEO delegates and five are add-ons selected in April 2004.
