Aired March 27, 2001 - 7:37 a.m. ET

THIS IS A RUSH TRANSCRIPT. THIS COPY MAY NOT BE IN ITS FINAL FORM AND MAY BE UPDATED.

COLLEEN MCEDWARDS, CNN ANCHOR: There has been more violence in the northeastern part of Jerusalem. One person is dead, two people are in critical condition, and at least five others have been injured after a bomb blast went off.

A man, apparently, got on board a bus, aroused the suspicion of people on the bus, and got off. There was an explosion. That person is dead.

Police assume it was a suicide bomber. This is the second act of violence there today. Earlier, a car bomb went off as a bus passed by an area. Four people were hurt in that.
