What to expect in New Hampshire
- It’s a two-person race in New Hampshire’s Republican presidential primary, with former President Donald Trump facing former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley. The field of major contenders has shrunk in the week ahead of Election Day, though several candidates who have dropped out remain on the ballot.
- New Hampshire broke Democratic National Committee rules by keeping its primary first, so no delegates will be awarded from the primary and President Joe Biden won’t appear on the ballot. But there is an organized effort encouraging primary voters to write in Biden’s name. Twenty-one names appear on the ballot, including author Marianne Williamson and Minnesota Rep. Dean Phillips.
