She reports daily on the latest global economic and financial news for CNN’s flagship shows and is the presenter of tech show Decoded, deciphering the latest in cutting-edge technology, from around the world, and from within the metaverse too.

Stewart also hosts CNN’s European business show Marketplace Europe, a monthly programme that showcases business innovation and technology, with interviews from some of the biggest names in business.

Stewart is a regular attendee and speaker on the international conference circuit, including at CES, Mobile World Congress, Viva Tech, Web Summit, GITEX, World Air Transport Summit, Watches and Wonders, and the World Government Summit.

She has interviewed a breadth of guests including Prime Ministers, royalty, and the leaders of the world’s biggest businesses, from airlines and carmakers to tech companies like Google DeepMind and OpenAI.

Stewart welcomes challenging assignments: she has raced Usain Bolt on a scooter, been deepfaked by AI and went viral for reporting live from a field of laughing turkeys.

In addition to her business and tech brief, Stewart is one of CNN’s royal correspondents, covering the death of Queen Elizabeth II, from the first news of her ill health through to the State Funeral, the Coronation of King Charles III, as well as the wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, and their subsequent fallout with the Royal family.

She also played a pivotal role in CNN’s coverage of Brexit, with in-depth reporting across the UK, culminating in the General Election of 2019 where she broke down the results on the magic wall at the CNN Center in Atlanta.

Stewart previously worked at CNBC. She studied English Literature at the University of Oxford where she was awarded an academic scholarship and the prestigious Gibbs price for academic excellence.
