  • Christina Walker is a News Editor managing breaking news events and covering enterprise stories for CNN Digital. Walker is based in Atlanta.

    Walker joined CNN's editorial team in 2016 and has specialized in data reporting. She built CNN's 10-year database of U.S. school shootings.

    Before joining CNN, Walker spent five years covering the Supreme Court for Oyez. She's reported extensively on humanitarian issues and environmental policies across three continents. As a student of the Medill School of Journalism, she also covered refugee resettlement and food security in Africa and the Middle East.

    Her work earned a U.S. Fulbright Scholarship to study in New Zealand, where she produced a documentary on how communities adapt to changing environmental regulations.

    Walker is from Nashville, Tennessee, and graduated from Northwestern University with degrees in journalism and political science.
