Vox is a brain injury specialist at the Shepherd Center in Atlanta, where he focuses on the management of complicated cases, including disorders of consciousness, dual brain and spinal cord injuries, and associated polytrauma. He is the on-air medical analyst for Atlanta’s NPR station WABE 90.1.

He graduated from Rhodes College and the University of Alabama School of Medicine before going on to Washington University in St. Louis and Boston University for his residency and fellowship training, respectively.
