Demonstrators assembled at Freedom Plaza and marched to Supreme Court Plaza where they were met with anti-abortion counter-protesters in favor of pro-life movements. In addition to generally supporting a woman's right to choose and the Pro-Choice Abortion Rights Movement, this demonstration is in direct response to the near-total ban on abortions in Texas which became law on September 1st 2021. In addition, more than 650 similar rallies are taking place in cities across The United States of America. (Washington, D.C.)
