Lindsay Isaac is a Senior News Editor at CNN International’s EMEA headquarters in London, covering news for CNN’s multi-platforms.
She has produced major international news events for CNN including its coverage of the Economic Forum in Davos, the Paris Bataclan attacks in 2015, the Ukraine-Russia conflict, the 2017 Dutch elections, the Greek referendum, and Brexit.
Lindsay was part of the Edward R Murrow award winning team for CNN’s coverage of Hurricane Maria in Puerto Rico; and of its Emmy nominated team for coverage of the Ukraine crisis from eastern Ukraine.
Prior to joining CNN in 2013, Lindsay was a producer for the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation in its London bureau. During that time, she covered many high profile stories including the refugee influx from Syria into Turkey at the beginning of the Syrian war in 2011, the Anders Breivik attack in Norway, the trial of Hosni Mubarak in Cairo, the royal wedding, the Queen’s Jubilee and the London 2012 Olympics.
Lindsay graduated from the University of Western Ontario with a Bachelor of Health Science. After completing a post graduate degree in Journalism from Ryerson University, she began her career in Toronto at CBC as an editorial assistant; moving on to become a show writer, field producer and reporter.
