  • Robin Meade is the longtime anchor of HLN's "Morning Express with Robin Meade", a New York Times best selling author & a singer-songwriter with 2 albums to her name.

    Broadcasting from the CNN Center in Atlanta since 2001, Robin is the longest running anchor of a national morning TV news show. Among her notable assignments: jumping out of a perfectly good plane with President George HW Bush (2009) on live tv, covering the inaugurations of President Obama (2013) & President Trump (2017) on location, and hosting "Ask Oprah's All Stars" at the mogul's request to help kick off the OWN network (2011). Robin has hosted the Daytime Emmy's (2013), CMT's "Disaster Relief Telethon and "Accent Health" with Dr. Sanjay Gupta. For more than a decade (and counting) her daily "Salute To Troops" segment has showcased military family and friends giving shoutouts and recognition to their loved ones serving around the globe.

    Her New York Times Bestselling book (2009) chronicled her rise over crippling panic attacks. "Morning Sunshine! How to Radiate Confidence and Feel It Too" was reissued as a bestseller in paperback (2011).

    Before joining CNN Headline News (now HLN) Robin anchored & reported at Chicago's WMAQ, Miami's WSVN, Columbus' WCMH, Cleveland's WJW & Mansfield's WMFD. The Ohio native graduated from Ashland University in Radio/TV Production Performance & Programming and Political Science. She won the Young Alumnus Award (2005), was inducted into the Ohio Broadcasters Hall of Fame (2005) & bestowed the prestigious Gracie Award for Outstanding Anchor (2010) previously given to Katie Couric.

    As a vocalist, Robin has belted the anthem to millions at Nascar's Sprint Cup races in Sonoma (2010), Daytona (2012), Talladega, Charlotte (2013) & Atlanta (2016), the NFL's Atlanta vs. New England game (2013) and MLS Atlanta United (2017). She's performed with Zac Brown Band, Darius Rucker, Kenny Chesney, Richard Marx, David Foster, Don Felder (Eagles), Jim Brickman and The Tenors among others. She 's earned a standing ovation on the Grand Ole Opry, and was the featured guest performer at the Venetian in Las Vegas for a two-week Christmas run with "Human Nature."

    Robin's holiday original "Ghost of My Christmas Past" (produced by Kristian Bush) reached #11 on Billboard's holiday radio charts (2017). Her duet of "Sleigh Ride" with Human Nature reached #14. For her albums, Robin collaborated with Kenny Loggins & blues artist Keb' Mo' among others for "Count On Me" (2014) which reached #29. Her debut album "Brand New Day" (2011) featured collaborations with John Rich (Big & Rich) & Billy Dean among others, and reached #24.

    Robin feels strongly about such causes or foundations as "K9's for Warriors", "St Jude", "Fisher House Foundation", "Dress For Success," "Blessings in a Backpack," "Shoes That Fit,' & "Camp Southern Ground." She is a DIY diva, a wanna-be mixologist & an avid Buckeyes fan. She and her husband live in Atlanta, Georgia along with their three rescue pups.
