Milan CNN  —

The international design community descends on Milan every April for the world’s biggest and most significant design event in the calendar, Milan Design Week. Throughout the week the city is alive with exhibitions, installations, talks and parties.

The event acts as a barometer for current and future trends in design. While most visitors are gauging the colors and forms of the moment, snapping and sharing them like fury, there is a growing appetite amongst designers to question this never-ending influx of new creations.
