Move seat: Airplane seating just potentially got much more exciting. This is the "Move" seat, a prototype design concept for the economy cabin that doesn't scrimp on style or substance.

Short-haul style: British design company LAYER has devised this airplane seat for use in Airbus economy cabins on short to mid-haul flights.

Smart seats: Each seat is made of fancy fiber that's connected to built-in smart sensors. Passengers will be able to control seat temperature, tension, pressure and movement.

High tech: It's all done via a connected app that can be downloaded onto a phone.

Controlling the experience: The app also tells passengers when they should get up and stretch their legs -- or take a sip of water.
